Area Manager – Floor (USA) – Supply Chain

Compensation: $65,500 – $98,000 per year;
Regular/ Permanent

Implement and execute the business plan for the assigned area, ensuring production quality, safety and productivity objectives are met.

• Communicate with and to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing, including customers, suppliers and associates.
• Communicate goals and manage staffing and scheduling, assign duties and coordinate workloads to achieve facility goals.
• Prepare, review and analyze business reports to monitor productivity.
• Ensure quality and safety standards are maintained, provide training on logistics and company policies, and enforce compliance.
• Identify associate, customer and supplier concerns, consult with others and recommend corrective actions.
• Supervise and develop associates and leaders, monitor performance, provide feedback, provide training, and participate in hiring, promotion, coaching and evaluation.

• Associate’s Degree in Business, Logistics or related field and 1 year of supervisory experience; or
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics or related field; or
• 1 year of Walmart Logistics Management experience; or
• 2 years of Walmart Logistics experience; or
• 2 years of supervisory experience.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience supervising associates.
• Familiarity with Walmart Logistics Systems.
