Janitor – Greencastle Community Schools

We are hiring immediately for full-time Janitor positions.

Location:

1002 Mill Pond Lane, Greencastle, IN 46135. Openings at other district locations available. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.; details upon interview.

Requirement:
No experience necessary.

Pay range: $15.25 to $15.50 per hour.

• Collect trash and dispose following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement.
• Sanitize all surfaces and clean assigned areas with assigned materials and equipment. Follow the eight‑step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Seek out areas requiring cleaning; take initiative to complete the task.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor and perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff and refinishes floors; shampoo carpet.
• Contribute to the team; exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
