The Activity Assistant plays a vital and heartfelt role in enriching the lives of residents. With warmth, patience, and genuine care, they help create a joyous and engaging environment where seniors feel seen, heard, and valued.

• Creativity: Create engaging, age‑appropriate activities that suit different physical and cognitive abilities.
• Supportive Presence: Connect with residents and understand their emotional and social needs.
• Teamwork: Work toward a common goal of excellent care, cooperating closely with the care team.
• Time Management: Balance daily schedules, multiple residents, and activity preparation.

• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values—Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, Excellence—towards residents, families, customers, and staff.
• High school diploma, GED, or one to three months’ related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Successful completion of a State‑approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program or a CNA competency evaluation program approved by the State (this training may also be provided by the community).
