Job Duties- Production Support: work with Unit Quality Manager through design and implementation of audit system. Work with production initiate corrective or prevent action for appropriate product. Contribute to evaluating and disposition NCP. Establish, maintain, and ensure improvement. Respond to trends reports, summaries to pre4ovent incidences and improve products and processes.
- Quality Planning Support: work to establish, implement, and maintain quality assurance and verification capabilities. Develop needed measurement and requirements. Work with personnel to support system improvements.
- Quality Management System Support: assist with implementation, documentation control, and ongoing training. Monitor product to ensure specified requirements. Help determine QMS effectiveness, employees are following documentation, products are conformed, and process obtain capabilities.
- Quality Department Support: establish, implement, and maintain system documentation for verification products and equipment used to meet requirements. Develop system to improve verification processes. Coordinate verification activities with production schedules to verify product conforms with requirements. Work with Unit Quality Manager to establish and main QMS system documentation. Identify, implement, and maintain technique applications to assist with verification.
- Manufacturing Resource:
Lead problem-solving activities. Support operators using methods to determine process capability and control. - Miscellaneous:
Assist with training new employees.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have good problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of advanced mathematics, including statistical techniques, SPC, Capability Analysis and Gage R+R is required.
- Ability to apply quality tools for continuous improvement (FMEA).
- Knowledge of basic inspection and testing concepts, how to read blueprints and GD+T information. Possess good communication skills.
- Possess ability to work effectively and maintain professional composure with other employees.
- Understanding of basic PC computer application skills, including database, spreadsheets and word-processing.
- A two-year college degree and ASQ Certification as Quality Technician.
- Three to five years' experience in quality and/or manufacturing related fields.
