- Work with Product development activities
- Create and modify programs for stationary and portable coordinate measuring equipment and related software
- Write, maintain, and troubleshoot gage programs
- Create and maintain pictorial and written work instructions for inspection procedures
- Perform root cause analysis for problem solving
- Inspect and analyze welds per AWS standards
- Assist in developing training programs regarding complex measuring equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in all Level 1 and Level 2 Inspector activities
- Must be able to set-up, program, and operate Virtek, Faro Arm, and CMM
- Working knowledge of statistical data collection, capability studies, and Gage R&R's
- Experience with product development activities
- Advanced knowledge of metallurgical equipment
- Ability to create and modify programs for stationary and portable coordinate measuring equipment and related software
- Ability to write, maintain, and troubleshoot gage programs
- Ability to create and maintain pictorial and written work instructions for inspection procedures
- Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
- Ability to inspect and analyze welds per AWS standards
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Individuals with temporary visas or who need sponsorship now or in the future are not eligible for hire
Demonstrates proficiency in programming and operating coordinate measuring equipment, including Virtek and Faro Arm, while ensuring compliance with AWS standards. Capable of conducting root cause analysis and developing training programs for complex measuring equipment.
