The Asset Protection Specialist has thorough knowledge of Knit Well Group’s security and life safety procedures. Performs duties as a floor officer and acts as a deterrent to theft. Responds to and proactively addresses life safety, security, and operational issues. Flexibility to work overtime as required.

• Checks employee s to control facility access and logs visitors/contractors.
• Monitors facilities CCTV, fire/burglar, and access control systems.
• Answers and transfers internal/external phone calls as part of Front Desk procedures.
• Conducts daily and monthly audits and facility inspections (i.e. compliance audits, safety/security checklists, etc.).
• Responsible for initiating internal/external investigations based on daily inspection findings and/or information received from other sources.
• Secures facility during non-operational hours.
• Provides after-hour security service/surveillance (walk and/or monitor associates to their automobile, etc.) to associates in times of need.
• Oversees incident/injury reporting and applies first aid in times of need.
• Tracks and monitors all damaged, pilfered carton reports.
• Responsible for initiating and controlling Emergency Response.
• Performs other administrative duties as needed by AP Management.

• Minimum of six months experience in Asset Protection/Loss Prevention or security preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be flexible to work any hours required.
• Self‑motivated; must be able to work with little or no supervision.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred. Certification will be required during employment and provided by Knit Well Group.
• Possesses some computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Successful completion of a background check required prior to hire.
