An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist seeking a contract role in a vibrant school environment. This position supports students across two school sites, serving a diverse caseload of 75-85 students ranging from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Your skills will have a meaningful impact on childrens development while collaborating closely with educational teams.
This full-time contract role requires 40 hours per week over five days, with the assignment running from July 31, 2026, through May 31, 2027. Immediate interview availability allows you to fast-track your new adventure supporting student communication in a supportive school community.
Qualifications and Experience- Valid Indiana Department of Education SLP licensure required
- Preferred:
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to potentially supervise SLPAs - Previous experience in a school-based SLP role strongly preferred
- Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and intervention planning for a school-aged population
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services to K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff
- Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings
- Consult with teachers, parents, and allied professionals regarding student progress
- Document and report progress in accordance with school and legal requirements
- If applicable, supervise and support SLPAs in their clinical and service duties
