We are looking for a Staff Accountant to help with our daily operations, streamline our month-end processes, and keep our projects moving forward smoothly.
- Prepare, post, and adjust journal entries to maintain accurate accounting logs.
- Review job billing status reports and ensure all projects are invoiced in a timely manner per contract requirements and specifications.
- Ensure timely delivery of all contract-required documents, including invoices/pay applications, lien waivers, certified payroll, and diversity reporting.
- Assist in closing the books, including calculating accruals and rolling forward balances.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar accounting role
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and comfort with accounting software.
- Exceptional organizational skills, tight deadline management, and strong analytical skills.
- Experience in the construction industry and familiarity with Procore is a huge plus.
