Title: Construction Project Manager

Location: Milwaukee, WI (onsite 5-days/week)
Hire Type: Direct Hire
The Construction Project Manager will supervise Assistant PMs and coordinate with contractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple construction and facility improvement projects simultaneously.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with company expectations.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and project documentation.
- Coordinate activities between contractors, subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and internal stakeholders.
- Lead project kickoff meetings and provide regular project status updates.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Track project costs and approve invoices, change orders, and contractor billings.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable building codes, safety standards, and company policies.
- Manage and develop Assistant Project Managers who support construction projects and documentation.
- Conduct site visits to monitor ongoing work and quality standards.
- Maintain project records, schedules, permits, contracts, and closeout documentation.
- Support capital planning and facility improvement initiatives.
- 5+ years of construction project management experience.
- Experience managing commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or large-scale renovation projects.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, and contractor management.
- Experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly between Milwaukee-area facilities.
- Professional references demonstrating successful project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- PMP, CCM, or other construction/project management certification.
- Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial facilities.
- Knowledge of permitting, code compliance, and contractor procurement processes.
