Registered Dietitian - Pediatric ICU

We are seeking a full‑time Registered Dietitian at Burnet Campus to provide clinical nutrition care in our new Critical Care Building. The role is Day shift Monday–Friday, with possible weekend coverage on a differential basis.

• Perform nutritional assessments for patients in the Pediatric ICU.
• Develop and evaluate complex care plans that anticipate how diseases and therapies impact nutrition.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, diet technicians, and other team members to initiate and coordinate care plans.
• Provide individualized nutrition counseling and education to patients, families, and care providers.
• Support patients and families preparing for transition to home, including development of educational materials.
• Identify learning needs for staff and provide education; serve as preceptor for new dietitians.
• Generate performance improvement activities and complete productivity records, including charge entry.
• Participate in committees or work groups affecting the department or community; contribute to professional knowledge.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to complete daily patient care responsibilities and provide input on projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Master’s preferred).
• Registered and licensed dietitian in the State of Ohio.
• 2+ years of relevant experience (critical care experience strongly preferred).
• Strong clinical assessment and care‑planning skills; ability to apply current research.
• Excellent communication, teaching, and leadership abilities.

• Annual salary range: $56,846.40 – $72,488.00 (plus pay for weekend differential).
