We are seeking a full‑time Registered Dietitian at Burnet Campus to provide clinical nutrition care in our new Critical Care Building. The role is Day shift Monday–Friday, with possible weekend coverage on a differential basis.
Responsibilities- Perform nutritional assessments for patients in the Pediatric ICU.
- Develop and evaluate complex care plans that anticipate how diseases and therapies impact nutrition.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, diet technicians, and other team members to initiate and coordinate care plans.
- Provide individualized nutrition counseling and education to patients, families, and care providers.
- Support patients and families preparing for transition to home, including development of educational materials.
- Identify learning needs for staff and provide education; serve as preceptor for new dietitians.
- Generate performance improvement activities and complete productivity records, including charge entry.
- Participate in committees or work groups affecting the department or community; contribute to professional knowledge.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to complete daily patient care responsibilities and provide input on projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Master’s preferred).
- Registered and licensed dietitian in the State of Ohio.
- 2+ years of relevant experience (critical care experience strongly preferred).
- Strong clinical assessment and care‑planning skills; ability to apply current research.
- Excellent communication, teaching, and leadership abilities.
- Annual salary range: $56,846.40 – $72,488.00 (plus pay for weekend differential).
- Paid time off: 30 days PTO annually; unused PTO rolls over.
