Full time, Monday–Friday, Day shift, with possible weekend coverage and a $5.00/hour weekend differential on qualified hours.

Salary:
Expected starting pay range $56,846.40–$72,488.00. Additional pay (shift, on‑call, or weekend differentials) and benefits may apply. Pay range $62,000–$104,000 annually for salaried/exempt employees, based on education and experience.

Benefits start immediately. 30 days of PTO each year; unused PTO rolls over.

We are seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian to work in the brand‑new Critical Care Building at Burnet Campus. If you have critical care experience, this may be the right role for you.

• Clinical Practice
  • Perform nutritional assessments for patients.
  • Anticipate how diseases and therapies will impact nutrition, and develop complex care plans using current or new nutrition standards.
  • Recommend adjustments to meet the needs of both patient and family.
  • Critically evaluate which interventions are most likely to promote positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with team members to initiate and coordinate care plans.
  • Individualize nutrition counseling and education for patients, families, and care providers.
  • Help and support patients and families preparing for transition to home.
  • Develop educational materials.
  • Incorporate current research into clinical practice and share relevant information with peers.
• Leadership
  • Identify learning needs for nutrition staff, health care team members, and community and initiate education activities.
  • Identify and meet ongoing learning needs of diet technicians and/or interns.
  • Function as a preceptor in orientation and education of new dietitians.
  • Generate performance improvement activities and documents activities for reports.
• Fiscal Responsibility
  • Complete productivity records and enter charges in a timely fashion.
• Professional Growth and Development
  • Participate on a committee and/or work group affecting the department, hospital, and/or community.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and personal experience in contributions to professional knowledge.
  • Assist other members by educating, providing resources and consulting on difficult cases.
• Collaboration
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary care team, diet technicians and others to complete daily patient care responsibilities.
  • Partner with coworkers and health care professionals to provide valuable input on projects.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in nutrition required;
  Master's degree preferred.
• Experience:
  
  2+ years of relevant experience strongly preferred; critical care experience a plus.
• Registered and Licensed Dietitian in the State of Ohio required.
