Pharmacy Technician, Inpatient, varied shifts

Job Responsibilities

• Medication orders – Performs unit dose preparation for cartfill and first doses.
• Non-sterile, non-hazardous dose preparation for first fill or cartfill, including oral syringes from liquid dosage forms.
• Delivery of patient‑specific doses and preparation of ADC replenishment.
• Compounding – compounds non‑sterile, non‑hazardous medications.
• Phone triage – Performs outpatient pharmacy phone triage.
• Medical claims – Performs insurance adjudication.
• Inventory management – Performs medication storage inspections.
• Interact with pharmacy automated dispensing machines and hospital computer systems as necessary.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• PTCB certified and Ohio Board of Pharmacy certified within 18 months of hire.
• ASHP accredited program graduate OR 6 months of hospital pharmacy‑related experience.

Full time, rotating shift. Primary location:
Burnet Campus.

Regular FTE, 40 hours per week.

Annualized pay $19.50 – $23.92 per hour, may vary based on FTE status.
