Job Summary
Starting salary is $32.50 per hour, based on experience. Employees also receive a $4.00 shift differential. This position is scheduled for 2nd shift, rotating to 3rd shift 2–3 times per month. No weekends or call hours.
Responsibilities- Customer Service – Patient:
Advocate for patients and families by responding quickly to requests, providing education, and maintaining a courteous, attentive demeanor. - Process Improvement:
Participate in initiatives that enhance organizational performance, recommend process changes, collect data, and provide input to departmental discussions. - Patient Care – Procedures and Exams:
Prepare patients and families for procedures, conduct exams according to protocol, and facilitate information exchange. - Communication – Patient:
Communicate promptly and kindly with patients, families, and staff; provide emotional support and necessary information about admissions, referrals, transfers, or discharges. - Imaging Technologist Role:
Operate computed‑tomography equipment, coordinate patient care, and communicate effectively with the radiology team and other departments within the pediatric hospital setting.
Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent. Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree, Registered ARRT (R) or Eligible Registered ARRT (CT) within 24 months of hire, and licensing by the Ohio Department of Health within 30 days of eligibility.
Primary location:
Burnet Campus. Full‑time position. Shift: 2nd/3rd shift. Weekly hours: 40.
