Branch Skilled- Production Supervisor

Position Title: Production Supervisor

Wage: $27.00 - $30.00/hour

Shift: 3rd

Hours: 10:00pm - 6:30am (Monday – Friday)

This is a direct hire position for 3rd shift.

• Supervise daily production operations and employees on assigned shifts
• Ensure production schedules and customer demands are met efficiently and safely
• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to Production Leads, Machine Operators, and Production Associates
• Monitor productivity, labor utilization, quality metrics, and operational performance
• Coordinate staffing levels and allocate personnel based on production requirements
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and development of production employees
• Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
• Address employee concerns and recommend corrective actions when necessary
• Ensure compliance with GMP, SQF, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure all quality and food safety standards are met
• Work closely with Maintenance to address equipment issues and minimize downtime
• Review production reports, work orders, and operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities
• Monitor inventory usage, material flow, and production efficiency
• Ensure all required production documentation, reports, and records are completed accurately and on time
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve productivity, and increase operational effectiveness
• Serve as a key decision-maker regarding production priorities, food safety, quality concerns, and workforce management
• Responsible for being aware of and following all food safety protocols as required by Rishi Tea's Food Safety Management System, as they relate to this position

• Previous supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with in food manufacturing preferred
• Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills
• Experience managing production teams and meeting operational goals
• Knowledge of GMP, SQF, HACCP, food safety, and workplace safety requirements
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to analyze production metrics and implement process improvements
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems
• Ability to work collaboratively with Production, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Management teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
