Production; Assembly

Overview

Position Title:

Production (Assembly) Wage: $16.25/hour.

Shift: 1st.

Hours:

6:00am - 4:30pm (Monday - Thursday, overtime on Friday as needed).

Location:

Milwaukee, WI. Join our team as a Production (Assembly) team member and contribute to assembling cables to high-quality standards. You will help ensure cables meet quality expectations, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate with colleagues to achieve goals.

• Assemble cables by hand according to work instructions
• Reject and rework defective cables as needed
• Repair and rework cable assemblies as required
• Use various hand tools, such as cutters, wire strippers, and hand crimpers
• Label, measure, cut, and terminate wires using a cutting machine
• Use a handheld heat gun for heat shrinking
• Use a computer to log completed work orders and restart the process
• Operate machines, including clamping, cutting and wiring machines
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the department which may include assisting with inventory counts, material handling, rework, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with frequent lifting of 1-30 lbs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
• Basic knowledge of electrical components and cable assembly
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions
