QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for an Envelope Machine Adjuster at a company in Milwaukee, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 2nd shift.

• Make proper size changes and adjustments to all assigned machines in accordance with estimated change times; obtain approval from lead adjuster or supervisor on start-up of new orders
• Monitor assigned machines and performance of Operators to ensure quality (folding, gumming, printing, count, packaging, etc.) and run speed standards are being met
• Troubleshoot operating difficulties, analyze machine operations and make necessary mechanical adjustments to eliminate quality variations and mechanical malfunctions
• Provide training and assistance to coworkers, including other Adjusters
• Ensure change parts are cleaned and returned to assigned areas at completion of order
• Perform minor machine maintenance and assist maintenance team with major repairs and/or machine moves
• Monitor machine shutdowns, where applicable, to ensure proper cleaning

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience within a manufacturing setting; paper and/or converting industry experience preferred
• Experience operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining envelope converting equipment (FL Smithe or W+D) preferred; printing experience highly preferred
• Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a ruler
• Excellent mechanical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills
