LPN, Healthcare Nursing, Pediatric Nurse

Job Responsibilities

• Contribute and collect data for patient health assessments and research protocols; provide patient care as directed; administer medications and treatments; evaluate patient response to nursing interventions.
• Participate in development, maintenance, or modification of nursing care plans or research protocols; incorporate age‑specific and culturally inclusive concepts.
• Collaborate with other health‑care or research team members regarding patient care plans or research protocols.
• Maintain organizational and regulatory requirements and accreditations; adhere to policies, procedures, and guidelines; identify and report safety concerns to leadership.
• Ensure patients and families feel welcome, safe, valued, and respected; incorporate culturally inclusive concepts into patient care; engage patients and families and acknowledge cultural impact.
• Perform direct care of infant, child, adolescent and young adult patients and families under the direction of a registered nurse or other providers.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a practical nursing (LPN) or vocational nurse (LVN) program.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (preferred).
• Experience in pediatric or research facility (preferred).
• At least 2 years of related work experience (preferred).
