A food runner is responsible for delivering the food from the kitchen to a customer in a restaurant. They are responsible for ensuring that each customer receives the correct order.

• Greet guests with a friendly and outgoing demeanor and accommodate any special needs or guest requests.
• Run food orders throughout the restaurant.
• Stock glassware, flatware, and napkins in all necessary areas on a continual basis.
• Take full bus trays to the dish area and replace empty bus trays in the service stations.
• Sort dishes at the dish area to help expedite cleaning.
• Empty dining room trash cans as needed.
• Perform side work before, during, and after the shift as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area/station.
• Assist other team members and management as needed.
• Assist in maintaining a safe working environment.
• Present a professional demeanor in attire, language, and attitude.
• Purchase and wear appropriate uniform.

All other duties as assigned.

• Restaurant experience preferred.

• Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and reach overhead.
• Walking through dining room on carpeted and hardwood flooring.
• Light/moderate lifting is required.
• Position dictates working in a fast‑paced environment and subject to irregular hours including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
