Responsibilities

• Drive Sales and Profit: achieve retail store targets, foster growth, and implement strategies and promotions to increase traffic and sales.
• Memorable Shopping Experiences: infuse every customer interaction with positivity and inclusivity, helping customers find pieces that reflect their unique personality.
• Piercing Excellence: conduct piercings, educate on aftercare, maintain a sterile environment, and address customer questions throughout the process.
• Store Operations: manage inventory, handle cash transactions, coordinate visual merchandising, and oversee promotional activities to keep store operations running smoothly.
• Team Leadership: recruit, train, manage, and develop the team; foster a culture of collaboration, motivation, and accountability.
• Brand Representation: showcase Claire’s products with enthusiasm, offer fashion tips and advice, and ensure store merchandising reflects the latest trends.

  Experience:
  
  at least one year of retail management experience preferred; proven ability to drive sales and support team success.
• Confidence in Piercing Services: willing to become a trained piercing specialist and provide expert guidance to customers.
• Strong Communication & Selling

  engage customers, build relationships, and close sales.
• Ability to Work Independently: self‑motivated, organized, and able to take charge when needed.

• Conduct piercings with patience and empathy, especially with young or anxious customers.
• Operate a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently.
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent and have 1–2 years of retail management experience.
• Physical ability to stand during scheduled shifts, lift 11–35 kg, bend, stoop, extend reaching, and climb ladders or step stools while placing merchandise and assisting customers.
• Passionate about providing customers with opportunities to express themselves freely and energized by interacting with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers, employees, and management.
• Proficient in basic mathematics for inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling.
• Driven team leader with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work independently when required.

$22.00 – $24.50 per hour, with final compensation determined by experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
