Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully equipped electrical distribution and control equipment.
As a result of continued growth, we are looking for motivated Maintenance Carpenters to join our growing team.
Core Responsibilities- Repairs:
Inspect buildings for damage and repair structures like walls, ceilings, doors, windows, and floors. - Cabinetry & Millwork:
Fabricate, repair, and install cabinets, shelves, countertops, and finished trim. - Maintain structural components to prevent deterioration.
- Install doors, pre-hang wood/steel.
- Exterior Work:
Repair siding, decks, fences, and outdoor structures. - Collaboration:
Coordinate with other trades (plumbers, electricians) and manage subcontractors.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience:
3–5 years of experience in rough and finish carpentry. - Technical
Skills:
Proficiency with power tools (saws, routers, grinders) and ability to read blueprints and sketches. - Physical Ability:
Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces. - Valid driver's license is required.
Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of building, health, and safety codes.
- Proficiency in drywall installation and painting.
- Ability to use computer-based systems for work orders.
