Paraprofessional / IA
The Instructional Assistant (Kindergarten) is responsible for assisting the Teacher to provide inclusion or pull‑out specialized academic support for students. This full‑time position will work 35 hours per week and includes benefits.
Applicants must have two (2) years of college coursework, a college degree, or pass the Para Pro Assessment. Must have satisfactory background/fingerprint checks as required by the Tennessee State Department of Education and state law. Must meet health and physical requirements.
Job Requirements- At least 2 years of relevant experience (preferred).
- High School/Trade School degree (preferred).
- Qualified to provide inclusion or pull‑out support.
- Pass Para Pro Assessment or equivalent.
- Successful completion of background/fingerprint checks under state law.
- Meeting health and physical requirements.
