IT Systems Administrator

This position provides coordination and oversight of day-to-day operations of the Agency’s computer systems and networks.

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality.
• Must be flexible and willing to work with occasional changes in scheduling.
• Must subscribe to the Agency’s Mission Statement and Organizational Values.

• Maintain inventory and records for all servers, workstations, mobile devices, printers, and network equipment.
• Assign and reclaim devices as staff onboard and offboard with the Agency.
• Plan and process security updates on all servers, hypervisors, and workstations.
• Coordinate with software providers to support line of business applications.
• Update IT documentation and guides as the environment changes.
• Work with vendors on hardware/software quotes and procurement.
• Perform troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common issues involving networking, computers, printing, etc.
• Installation and management of security cameras.
• Complete IT tickets and work requests.
• Experience with these platforms is required:
  • Active Directory
  • Windows Server file servers, print servers and similar
  • Office 365 and Exchange Online
