Desktop Support Technician

Responsibilities

* Provide onsite and remote support for hardware, software, and peripheral issues.

* Deploy, configure, and replace laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.

* Support printers, scanners, and other office technology.

* Assist with user onboarding, equipment setup, and account-related requests.

* Perform basic network and connectivity troubleshooting.

* Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff.

* Deliver excellent customer service to end users.

Qualifications

* 0-2 years of IT support, technical, or customer service experience.

* Basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, computer hardware, and printers.

* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

* Ability to learn new technologies and work independently.

* Technical certifications such as CompTIA A+ are a plus but not required.

Preferred Skills

* Experience with ticketing systems.

* Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, or endpoint management tools.

* Experience supporting laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and printers.

Physical Requirements

* Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.

* Ability to work under desks, in wiring closets, and around IT equipment as needed.
