Sign Language Interpreter with knowledge of ASL and/or Signing Exact English. Certified Educational Sign Language Interpreter is preferable. Must be able to sign vocabulary related to elementary school curriculum. Must be available to work with a student in the regular classroom seven hours a day for 180 school days. An educational sign language interpreter facilitates communication between Deaf or hard-of-hearing students and their hearing peers, teachers, and other school personnel.

They ensure students have access to all educational content and interactions, acting as a bridge between signed and spoken language.
