Kits Assembly TN

INTRODUCTION:
This position reports to the Aftermarket Assembly Manager. It is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities.

KITS ASSEMBLY – Performs functions pertaining to the operations of the Kit Department and supplying shipping with Aftermarket Kits.

• Inspection of product and paperwork for shipment.
• Assemble and package to specification for kit orders.
• Use of email, reading prints, updating SAP, IGEAR work instructions, and other required software.
• Communicate with other departments as needed.
• Engage in continuous improvements projects as required.
• Any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position.

• Ability to gain knowledge of Kitting process and software required.
• 1 year of warehouse or kitting preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate professionally required.
• Basic computer skills desired.
• Work efficient in a high paced environment.
• Flexible work hours required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to gain knowledge of company products. Comply with quality, environmental, safety and JOST company policies and procedures.

• Work is generally performed in a production plant 100% of time.
• While performing duties of this job, the employee will regularly; stand, walk, reach, bend, twist and occasionally will be required to stoop, kneel, lift, pull or move objects of 50 pounds or less with or without assistance.
