JOB DESCRIPTION
$17.50/hr. up to $19/hr hourly Full-Time (6:30am-2:30pm – Monday-Friday)

- Loads and unloads trucks.
- Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials.
- Reprint load tags / Stretch wraps products.
- Locating and moving stock of products onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting device for storage or shipment.
- Continuously moving levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
- Inventories materials on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed.
- Weighs materials or products and records weight on tags, labels, or production schedules.
- Lubricates forklift, recharges batteries, fills fuel tank, or replaces liquefied gas tank.
- Ensures all shipping/warehouse paperwork ticket numbers are recorded accurately.
- Completes pre‑inspections and fill out forms.
- Inspects bales and identifying damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
- Receiving forklift drivers sign delivery receipts when truck is unloaded.
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment.
- Other duties as directed.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have demonstrated the ability to perform normal duties satisfactorily. Requirements: skilled & certified forklift operator; OSHA certification required. At least 2 years previous forklift experience. Possess basic computer skills and proficient user of ERP system. Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDSOccasional lifting/carrying up to 25 pounds, more frequent lifting/carrying of 1-20 pounds. Requires reaching below waist and knee, kneeling, squatting, climbing stairs rarely. Involves hand/wrist work, keyboarding, power grasping, pushing/pulling, walking left/right, simple grasping, standing for extended periods.
WORK ENVIRONMENTEmployee must wear protective glasses, hearing protection, and other PPE as assigned. Plant and warehouse areas can be chilly in winter (above freezing) and hot in summer (non‑air conditioned). Clutter free but dust from manufacturing process. Position may require overtime including possible weekends.
