Job Description
Obeys all plant/safety rules and complies with all OSHA/TOSHA regulations.
Performs daily inspections of power truck before operating truck and reports any issues immediately to shift supervisor.
Receives, verifies, and processes through the handheld scanner any inbound/outbound loads.
Sorts by hand, palletizes, bands and stretch‑films for inbound/outbound pallet loads.
Transports material in a safe and efficient manner from one location to another.
Loads and unloads trailers and trains manually and/or with power truck equipment.
Records inventory transactions by the use of a handheld bar code scanner or any other method that is required.
Performs material handling duties, including selection of material and repalletizing spilled loads.
Maintains inventory by selecting, shipping or locating material with bar code scanner.
Assists in the preparation of locating material to be shipped, including labeling of product and staging of products for shipment.
Accurately counts material and fills out paperwork to ensure each load has the proper documentation necessary for shipment.
Maintains the charging and changing of batteries for forklifts, handheld scanners, printer labels, and printer ribbons.
Delivers or locates inbound materials as required.
Operates forklift and handles material in a safe manner at all times to prevent damage to material.
Conducts daily and weekly safety audits of area with shift supervisor.
Maintains clean and organized work area.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education- GED or High School Diploma
- One year of Material Movement experience.
- One year of power truck experience.
- Must have the ability to read, write, and perform simple math.
- Fork truck skills/certification.
- Must have good oral communication skills to work in a team‑based environment.
- Possess strong reasoning skills.
- Knowledgeable in Oracle and legacy systems.
- Knowledgeable in material movement.
- Skilled in the use of bar scanning.
- Ability to operate all types of power trucks.
- Skilled in material flow processes.
