We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Stamping Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining stamping presses to produce high-quality metal components efficiently and safely. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly, quality standards are met, and safety protocols are strictly followed. Available Shifts

• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Training will be completed on 1st Shift:

• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay

• $19.50-$20.00/hour

Duties

• Set up, operate, and monitor stamping presses to produce metal parts according to specifications.
• Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and tooling instructions to accurately produce parts.
• Perform routine maintenance on stamping presses and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize hand tools and fabrication techniques for minor repairs or adjustments to tooling and machinery.
• Coordinate with the fabrication team to manage tooling changes, setup adjustments, and machine calibrations.
• Follow safety procedures diligently, including the use of cranes, forklifts, and other lifting equipment when handling heavy materials or components.

Experience

• Proven experience operating stamping presses in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of CNC laser cutting, CNC programming, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, plasma cutting, electrical discharge machining (EDM), and press brake machines is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and quality inspection techniques using micrometers and other precision measuring tools.
• Hands-on experience with welding, sheet metal fabrication, tooling setup, and assembly processes.
• Ability to use hand tools effectively and perform basic math calculations necessary for machining and fabrication tasks.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to crane operation, forklift handling, and machine operation in a manufacturing setting.
