What You'll Do:

• Operate press and decoiler, understanding control panel settings and functions.
• Set and bolt dies in presses and adjust press feeders.
• Read and follow setup instructions for each job or utilize saved programs.
• Inspect parts diligently for conformance to inspections, blueprints, and SPC (if applicable).
• Set steel coils in the decoiler and adjust for steel thickness and flatness.
• Be vigilant of all aspects of press operation while blanking parts.
• Check oil levels daily and maintain the cleanliness of equipment and your work area.
• Accurately report production, downtime, and scrap.
• Crucially, you'll have the authority and responsibility to stop production on your equipment to ensure product/process conformity and to notify supervisors or Quality of any suspected nonconforming conditions. You'll also be responsible for preventing the recurrence of nonconforming conditions and notifying management of severe issues.

• Must have Hydraulics experience.
• Ability to read and write.
• Basic computer entry skills.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.).
• Ability to read blueprints.

Preferred Experience:

• Candidates with 3-5 years of experience are highly encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work any shift and potential overtime as needed.
