Laser Fabrication Attendant TN-3rd Shift

Job Description

INTRODUCTION:
This position reports to Machining Supervisor. It is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities.

• Assist machine operator in loading sheets of metal and/or steel beams and unloading cut parts.
• May include locating and grinding appropriate parts to specified instructions.
• Make sure all parts have part numbers visible and legible condition.
• Housekeeping in laser machine area and removal of debris from area.
• Operate in compliance with Basic Processes and Work Instructions.
• Any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position.

• Ability to work with mechanical tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and write legible.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and bend, stoop and reach and pull with full motion unrestricted.
• Prior experience helpful, but not necessary.
• Ability to gain knowledge of company products. Comply with quality, environmental, safety and Jost company policies and procedures.

• Work is generally performed in a production plant 100% of time.
• While performing duties of this job, the employee will regularly; stand, walk, reach, bend, twist and occasionally will be required to stoop, kneel, lift, pull or move objects of 50 pounds or less with or without assistance.
