Weekend General Laborer
Now hiring for a Weekend General Laborer for a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility in Telford, TN. We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team. This position is responsible for supporting housekeeping, recycling, and general facility maintenance activities to help maintain a safe and organized work environment.
$17.50 per hour
Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Job Responsibilities- Collect scrap corrugated material from production areas
- Transport corrugated material to the baler
- Operate the baler and load recycled material onto recycling trucks
- Collect and dispose of general trash from production areas to the dumpster located at the rear of the building
- Perform general housekeeping and cleanup duties throughout the facility
- Occasionally operate floor sweeper/scrubber equipment
- Assist the Maintenance Group with basic tasks as directed
- Perform other cleanup and general labor duties as assigned
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to safety and housekeeping standards
- Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to remain on your feet for the duration of a 12-hour shift
- Ability to walk throughout the facility regularly
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as needed
- Ability to safely work in a manufacturing environment
- Clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility
- Safety-focused workplace
- Training provided
- ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) shoes are required
- Additional PPE will be provided by the company
- $17.50 per hour
