Forklift Operator – Day & Night Shifts
Location:
Surgoinsville, TN
Pay: $17.00/hour
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule:
12-Hour 2/2/3 Rotation Available Shifts
Day Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:00 PM
Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:00 AM

Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, then alternate the following week.
We are currently hiring Forklift Operators for a busy manufacturing/warehouse environment in the Surgoinsville area. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for dependable individuals looking for stable, long-term employment with opportunities to grow.
Responsibilities- Safely operate a forklift to move, load, unload, and stage materials and products.
- Transport raw materials, finished products, pallets, and supplies throughout the facility.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Properly stack and organize materials in designated storage areas.
- Supply production lines with necessary materials.
- Remove completed products from production areas and move them to designated locations.
- Inspect materials and products for visible damage during handling.
- Complete inventory, shipping, receiving, or production paperwork as required.
- Follow all company safety procedures and forklift operating guidelines.
- Perform routine forklift inspections and report any mechanical or safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Assist with general warehouse and production duties when needed.
- Work closely with production, warehouse, and shipping teams to keep operations running efficiently.
- Previous forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to work a 12-hour shift and the rotating 2/2/3 schedule.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical warehouse duties for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be willing to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the rotating schedule.
