Welder TN-1st Shift

Description

This position reports to Welding Supervisor. It is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities.

WELDER – Performs duties associated with all areas of welding parts for production.

• a) Pull and weld parts to print or specifications.
• b) Label products correctly.
• c) Operate in compliance with Basic Processes and Work Instructions.
• d) Any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned, and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position.

• a) MIG welding experience preferred, semi-automatic MIG welding a plus.
• b) One-year on the job experience or welding classes (Trade School) desired.
• c) Pass JOST Welder Qualification Test
• d) Ability to work and communicate accurately and factual as an effective team member with fellow employees, leadmen and supervision.
• e) Ability to gain knowledge of company products. Comply with quality, environmental, safety and JOST company policies and procedures.

• a) Work is generally performed in a production plant 100% of time
• b) While performing duties of this job, the employee will regularly; stand, walk, reach, bend, twist and occasionally will be required to stoop, kneel, lift, pull or move objects of 50 pounds or less with or without assistance.
