Receiving Material Handler – Automotive Manufacturing
Location:
Midway, TN Shift: 1st Shift | 7: 00 AM – 3: 30 PM, Monday– Friday Pay: $17.00/hour Employment:
Temp-to-Hire | Excellent Growth Opportunity
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming materials and shipments
- Inspect materials for quantity, quality, and accuracy
- Match incoming materials to purchase orders, packing slips, and other documentation
- Properly label, organize, and store materials in designated areas
- Safely move materials throughout the facility using a forklift or other material-handling equipment
- Prepare materials for production and ensure components are available when needed
- Maintain accurate inventory and receiving records
- Communicate with production and warehouse teams regarding incoming materials
- Keep the receiving and storage areas clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all company safety policies and automotive manufacturing procedures
- Previous warehouse, receiving, material handling, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Forklift experience strongly preferred
- Ability to accurately read labels, paperwork, and shipping documents
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent attendance and punctuality are a must
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and dependable attitude
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift
- Must be willing to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed
- $17.00/hour
- 1st shift schedule: 7: 00 AM– 3: 30 PM, Monday– Friday
