Job Duties for the Manufacturing Machine Operator Position:
  • Set up and operate production equipment according to established procedures and supervisor instructions
  • Gather and maintain materials and supplies needed for production
  • Safely feed materials into machines and stack, label, cover, or band finished products as required
  • Inspect equipment before each shift and report any safety, maintenance, or operating concerns
  • Check materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe at all times
  • Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures and participate in required meetings and programs
  • Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
  • Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications, desired skills, and experience for Manufacturing Machine Operator Position:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; previous data entry experience preferred
  • At least 6 months of manufacturing, assembly, or related production experience required
  • Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English and work under direct supervision
  • Experience using hand tools and operating or troubleshooting production equipment
  • Knowledge of safe work practices, including lockout/tagout procedures and required PPE
  • Ability to identify safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, and material quality issues
  • Strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to stack materials properly
  • Willingness to work in an industrial environment with wood dust, noise, and varying temperatures
  • Ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds and work hours required by management
  • Ability to pass a drug screen
