Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program:
Qualivis Program - Ballad Health.

Additional Details:
Required skills and experience: Med/Surg, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Orthopedics, Plastics, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oral suctioning, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Colostomy/ileostomy management/care, Feeding tube care and management, Renal failure, Heparin, Insulin, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Isolation Precautions/PPE, Wound Care/Wound Vac
Preferred skills and experience: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Accessing/Managing Ports, Phlebotomy, Total joint replacement, Surgical drains, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur Evac, Tracheostomy care/management
Required credentials: BSN required for international clinicians.
Shift & schedule requirements: 36/36 schedule
Special request requirements: Contract RN/LPN team members are expected to actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education as we prepare future nurses for the profession. xrlwcon The clinical nursing student education responsibility is expected in addition to/alongside the provision of clinical care practice in every nursing specialty at Ballad Health.
7 days maximum time off
2 references from any number of months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
