HowYou Will Make a Difference
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and skilled nursing procedures.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensure comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.
- Supervise and direct nursing assistants and medication aides during the assigned shift in accordance with facility policies and regulations, as applicable.
- Monitor and observe residents’ physical and emotional status; notify the attending physician and responsible party of any change in condition.
- Develop, implement, and review individualized resident care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation per facility policy and procedure.
- Coordinate resident admissions, transfers, and discharges according to established procedures.
- Participate in quality assurance activities, staff education, and regulatory surveys as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or designee.
- Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
- CPR/BLS certification preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
- Minimum one (1) year of clinical nursing experience; long‑term care experience preferred.
- Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role preferred.
- Strong clinical observation, medication administration, and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of Federal and State long‑term care regulations.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and exercise sound clinical judgment.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Saturday & Sunday: 6 a.m. – 6 p.m.
