Receiver, Retail

Essential Job Functions:

• Check in all vendors in the receiving area.
• Scan or key in all product brought into the store.
• Discover and refuse unauthorized items delivered to the store.
• Control all traffic in and out of the rear area of the store and restrict all unauthorized personnel.
• Complete and maintain all forms required by company management.
• Responsible for all paperwork such as invoices and credits.
• Secure receiving equipment against unauthorized use.
• Responsible for markdown and/or reclaim of damaged/spoiled merchandise in accordance with company policy and all local, state and federal laws.
• Require vendors to sign and/or fill out appropriate paperwork.
• Make sure all vendors are aware of the rules, procedures, and methods, which they must follow when delivering product to the store.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
