TIG Pipe Welders & Pipe fitters

Pay: $26-$30 hourly/DOE for all trades |

• Welding
  • Perform TIG welding on pipe systems for commercial construction projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings
  • Cut, fit, and assemble piping systems
  • Ensure welds meet quality and safety standards
  • Work closely with project supervisors and field crews
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas
  • Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
  • Lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds
• Pipefitter
  • Cut, thread and hammer pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders and benders.
  • Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering and threading joints.
  • Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures, such as radiators or tanks, using brackets, clams, tools or welding equipment.
  • Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods.
  • Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading.
  • Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications.

• Minimum 2 years experience in TIG Pipe Welding, Commercial/Industrial Pipe fitting and/or Commercial Millwright
• Welders must pass a weld test
• Millwrights must have NCCER or NCCCO Certification
• All trades must have own basic hand tools
• OSHA 10 OR 30 PREFERRED
• Complete tasks as assigned by the site supervisor
• Perform all tasks in a timely manner under minimal supervision
• Must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions
• Complete all assignments requiring physical activity for a full shift
• Work all hours assigned.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must have a Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
• Must pass drug screen and all required background checks.
