Senior leader running site coordinators and partner relationships for an assigned district or area.
The Program Director is the senior program leader for an assigned district or geographic area. You run the team of Site Coordinators, own the partner relationship, and make sure every site delivers high-quality programming that meets student needs and contractual obligations. This is a builder role for someone who can lead people, manage a district, and stay close to the work.
Whatwe’re looking for
- Bachelor’s in education, social work, nonprofit management, public policy, or related — or equivalent experience
- 3+ years managing youth programs
- Working knowledge of California Education Code requirements for expanded learning (ELO-P, ASES)
- Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable in front of partners and staff
- Track record of building real relationships with institutional partners
- Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation for in-district travel
- Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred
- Master’s degree and direct after-school program experience a plus
- DOJ and FBI Live Scan clearance (CA Ed Code §45125.1)
- TB clearance
- Para educator competency (test, 48 college units, AA, or higher)
- First Aid/CPR within 30 days of hire
