We design and build advanced automated equipment for modern manufacturing. Our electrical design team plays a critical role in ensuring every machine we deliver is safe, reliable, and built to the highest engineering standards.
This is a major growth period for us. Demand for our automation equipment continues to increase, and we are expanding our engineering team to support new product lines and customer projects.
Our equipment is used across multiple industries and helps manufacturers improve throughput, reduce downtime, and operate with greater consistency and precision.
We work closely with leading industrial suppliers and automation vendors. Our electrical design team ensures seamless integration of components, robust panel layouts, and clean, maintainable schematics.
We are privately funded, have been in business for more than a decade, and employ over 100 people nationwide.
This role is on-site, working directly with controls engineers, mechanical engineers, and technicians to support real-time design, troubleshooting, and equipment build activities.
Due to growth, we are hiring an Electrical Design Engineer (Level 1 or
2) experienced with:
- Testing, selecting, and sourcing electrical components
- Creating electrical schematics and panel layouts
- Supporting panel build and equipment wiring
- Troubleshooting wiring issues and resolving build questions
- Producing supplementary documentation for electrical designs
- Collaborating with controls engineers, mechanical engineers, and technicians
- Managing project timelines and budgets
- Communicating project status with project management
- Evaluating new suppliers and products
- Maintaining relationships with key suppliers
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
- AutoCAD Electrical or similar schematic design software
- Industrial communication protocols (Ether Net/IP, Modbus, Profinet, etc.)
- Automation components such as sensors, drives, and safety devices
- Hands-on panel design or wiring experience
- Microsoft Office products
- Working in cross-functional engineering teams
- Trade show or training participation related to controls or automation
