We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join a global healthcare manufacturing team in Greenfield, IN.
In this high-impact position, you will report to the Director of Global Device Manufacturing & Technology, supporting global engineering and commercial teams to bring new manufacturing processes and automated equipment online.

- Process & Equipment Design:
Partner with equipment suppliers to design, specify, and deploy high- and low-volume assembly automation and injection molding equipment. - Technical Bidding & Estimating:
Lead technical RFQ (Request for Quotation) and Development Agreement processes; compile manufacturing strategies and project cost estimates for key commercial bids. - Customer & Team Representation:
Represent Global Engineering in customer meetings to translate business requirements into technical engineering solutions. - Project Delivery:
Manage technical deliverables and cross-functional teams from concept through validation and full-scale commercialization.
Working hours:
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Specialized Degrees:
Degree preferred in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Tooling Engineering;
Master's degree is a plus. - Regulatory Expertise:
Familiarity with medical device/packaging industry standards (ISO 13485, EU GMP, CFR Part 820, or GAMP
5). - Business Acumen:
Demonstrated grasp of operational and business development processes in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor?s degree in Engineering or a related Science discipline.
Experience:
3 to 5 years of technical engineering experience in automated manufacturing or tooling environments.
Technical
Skills:
Hands-on knowledge of assembly automation (high- and low-volume) and injection mold tooling.
Deep understanding of machine design, equipment specification, and validation processes.
Key
Competencies:
Strong project resource planning, data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and clear written/verbal communication skills.
