Ophthalmic Assistant; OA - In Training

Looking to start a rewarding career in eye care? We’re hiring an Ophthalmic Assistant (OA) / Technician to join our team!

If you have a great attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn, we’ll provide the training you need.

• Perform diagnostic tests such as visual acuity, tonometry, and lensometry
• Take patient medical histories and document findings in electronic health records
• Educate patients on eye care procedures and post-operative care
• Assist ophthalmologists with minor surgical procedures
• Maintain equipment and supplies in the clinic
• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information

• Monday 7:30am-12:00pm (occasional full days on Monday until 4:30pm)
• Tuesday 7:30am-4:30pm (occasional 1/2 days)
• Thursday 7:30am-12:00pm
• Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
