Job OpportunityWe are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to join our Wire Drawing Department as a Wire Production Inventory Coordinator. This position plays a critical role in maintaining smooth operations between our wire production, inventory management, and shipping departments. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Computer skills are a must.
This position is Mon – Thurs 6AM – 4PM and Friday 6:00AM – 11:30AM.
Key Responsibilities- Arrive prepared and on time to begin each shift with an organized workstation
- Monitor wire drawing machines and proactively supply production staff with wire using forklift equipment
- Support smooth workflow between production, inventory tracking, and shipping functions
- Receive completed wire from production into the inventory management system in real time
- Accurately receive and log wire coils into the system
- Maintain accuracy in inventory and production records, identifying and correcting errors as they occur
- Maintain and update daily Excel tracking sheets to communicate production schedules and active jobs to office personnel
- Demonstrate independent problem-solving and decision-making when discrepancies or system issues arise
- Perform quality control checks on wire and related documentation to ensure product and inventory accuracy
Verify packing lists and shipping documentation for accuracy before release - Ensure all records reflect accurate product and inventory information
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with inventory/warehouse management systems
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Reliable attendance
- Entry level knowledge of Excel
- Forklift experience
- Ability to frequently mount and dismount a forklift throughout the shift
- Ability to continuously bend, stoop, and move while tagging and handling wire coils
- Ability to work in an active production and warehouse environment
