DescriptionMachine Operator - Heat Treatment, Barrell Zinc, and Dip Spin operator
Location: Greenfield, Indiana
Shift: All training takes place on 1st shift (6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday-Friday). Once training is complete, you may choose between the 2nd shift (2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.) or the 3rd shift (10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.).
Pay: $21.00 per hour for 1st shift, $22.00 per hour for 2nd shift, $23.00 per hour for 3rd shift

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Essential functions may include, but are not limited to:
- Perform routine set‑up and changeover of machines, adjusting as needed to process operations accordingly.
- Run orders per product specifications and standard practices, including sorting, labeling, and packaging products per customer specifications, quality requirements, and standard practices.
- Perform tests and check products routinely for multiple characteristics using standard measuring tools, calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Understand and implement quality standards and procedures.
- Meet production schedules and program production sequences for optimal productivity.
- Follow standard operating procedures and specifications or instructions of higher‑level technical personnel and monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
- Maintain production records and logs of equipment and product performance.
- Maintain work area with necessary supplies to complete processes – 4S+ standard work.
- Operate heavy equipment necessary to move, load, and ship material and/or finished products throughout the manufacturing environment.
- Support inventory accuracy by completing cycle counts and correcting discrepancies to achieve business goals.
- Assist and support other team members in meeting department and site goals.
- Contribute and participate in team decision‑making processes including problem‑solving and continuous improvement efforts. Provide support in project work and other special requests.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Six months of related experience and/or training, one‑year certificate from a college or technical school, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Troubleshooting experience (preferred).
- Good communication skills.

- Ability to work as a team.
- Ability to lift containers up to 25 lbs (repetitively) and up to 100 lbs (occasionally).
- Ability to stand for extended periods, use hands, walk, bend, and/or twist.
