Stationary Engineer / Boiler Operator / Utilities Technician

Greenfield, Indiana | 3rd shift, 7 days on, 7 days off

• Performs and helps facilitate the completion of preventative and corrective maintenance for all power plant equipment.
• Coordinates all utility operations while on shift.
• Operates, repairs, troubleshoots, and maintains systems and equipment such as boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, pumps, and deionized water production trains.
• Utilizes the Utility Monitoring System to monitor, control, and trend performance of plant equipment.
• Completes preventive and corrective maintenance work orders.
• Provides back‑up assistance for Wastewater Treatment Plant operations.
• Performs water chemistry laboratory analysis on plant systems and maintains chemical parameters.
• Investigates and assists with abnormal facility conditions as needed after hours.
• Follows all SOPs and maintains a safe working environment.
• Interacts professionally with facility staff as well as customers.
• Assist Utilities Supervisor.
• May work with potentially hazardous substances.
• Climbs ladders and works in confined spaces as necessary.
• Exposed to greases, oils, solvents, additives, and live steam.
• Relocation assistance available.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; trade school or college education preferred but not required.
• 3+ years of experience in power plant, chilled water plant, or utility operations.

• Boiler Operator certification preferred but not required.
• 1+ year of experience operating chillers preferred but not required.
• HVAC or chiller experience helpful but not required.
• 1+ year of monitoring, testing, and adjusting chemical inputs for boiler water feed preferred.

• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
