Our client, a well-established manufacturer in the electrical/electronic production sector, is seeking a Journeyman Maintenance Technician to support critical plant operations.
This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has strong experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic presses.

Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic presses
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and basic electrical systems
- Dismantle equipment, replace defective parts, and reassemble machinery
- Inspect components for wear, dimensional changes, and imperfections
- Adjust and calibrate functional parts and control instruments
- Perform arc welding and metal fabrication as needed
- Operate lathes, drill presses, grinders, and milling equipment
- Read and interpret assembly drawings and assist with PLC troubleshooting
- Initiate purchase orders for replacement parts
- Conduct performance testing after repairs
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Journeyman card (required – must be current and verifiable)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic presses
- Basic electrical troubleshooting experience
- Ability to read assembly drawings and assist with PLC diagnostics
- Arc welding and machining experience (lathe & mills)
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (100 lbs occasionally)
- Comfortable working overtime, including Saturdays as needed
- Associates degree in a technical field OR equivalent hands-on experience
