IAF is one of 15 US manufacturers who can train and offer opportunities in multiple production processes:
Cold-Forming (Set-Up Machine Operator), Thread Rolling (Set-Up Machine Operator), Electro plating, Geomet, Annealing (Manual Machine Operator) – Heat Treatment Process (Manual Machine Operator), and Material Movement (Material Handler).

A Day in the Life of an IAF Team Member?

As a Shipping/Receiving Team Member,you will be responsible for receiving wire, washers, any materials needed to create the fasteners or bolts. Use a train to take containers of bolts from one process to the next. Take the fasteners from one area to the other. Lift modules of containers that our parent company provides us with in shipments.

Receive containers of bolts from our quality team. Put them in the correct location; pull them out of the correct location. Get them ready to pack based on customer order. Load and unload semi.

You would thrive in this position if:If you are okay being on your feet and walking long distances. Operating a motorized cart or operating a train. Using a scanner. Okay with lifting 25lb containers repeatedly. Okay with working in a non-temperature-controlled environment. Operating a power industrial vehicle (train)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential functions may include, but are not limited to:

Shipping Team Member

  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to company procedures.
  • Verify order accuracy, quantities, and shipping documentation before dispatch.
  • Load and unload shipments safely and efficiently.
  • Operate shipping equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (if certified).
  • Generate and process shipping labels and required transportation documents.
  • Coordinate with carriers and transportation providers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by reporting shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and warehouse operating procedures.
  • Keep shipping and staging areas organized and clean.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
  • Meet daily productivity, quality, and shipping deadlines.
  • Communicate shipment status and issues to supervisors and other departments.
  • Other duties may be assigned

Receiving Team Member

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify products against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Inspect materials for damage, quality issues, and quantity discrepancies.

  • Unload trucks and transport materials to designated storage locations.
  • Label, store, and organize inventory according to company standards.
