Morales Professional is partnering with an established metal fabrication organization to identify an Accessories Fabricator who can produce custom, multi-piece formed-metal assemblies. The work includes laying out flat patterns, cutting and forming component pieces, and assembling finished products with rivets, screws, and self-clinching fasteners. Because sizes, materials, and specifications vary by project, this role requires strong spatial reasoning, layout ability, sound judgment, and pride in visible-finish workmanship.

As an Accessories Fabricator, you will interpret fabrication drawings and turn flat material into accurate, finished three-dimensional assemblies. You will operate fabrication equipment, verify quality throughout the process, communicate abnormal conditions, and continue building your capabilities through structured training and cross-development.

• Interpret fabrication drawings and develop flat patterns for multi-piece formed assemblies, including tabs, relief cuts, and bend allowances.
• Shear, punch, and form component pieces accurately while minimizing material waste.
• Assemble finished parts using rivets, screws, and self-clinching fasteners to a visible-finish standard.
• Set up and operate turret-punch equipment, brakes, folders, and shears as required by the work.
• Work to custom dimensions and specifications on each project.
• Verify dimensions and workmanship against drawings before work advances to the next stage.
• Perform and document required quality checks, including first-piece verification where applicable.
• Identify and communicate abnormal conditions, equipment concerns, safety issues, and opportunities to reduce waste or rework.
• Maintain an organized work area and participate in training, skill development, and knowledge sharing.

• Dependable attendance and a consistent employment history.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch and independently interpret fabrication drawings.
• Hands-on layout and forming experience in sheet metal or a related trade, such as HVAC ductwork, architectural or ornamental metal, or automotive body-panel work.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and follow documented work instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no certification is required.

• Experience laying out flat patterns from a finished part.
• Turret-punch, CNC-punch, or laser-cutting experience.
• Experience with self-clinching fastening systems.
• Architectural or finish-critical metal experience.
• Experience training or mentoring others on a work center.

• Consistent, dependable performance from one day to the next.
• Strong spatial reasoning and the ability to visualize a finished part as a flat pattern.
• Careful material handling and a commitment to doing the work correctly the first time.
• Willingness to stop, communicate a concern, and resolve the issue rather than work around it.
• Pride in workmanship and willingness to teach others.

All Accessories Fabricators begin training on first shift, where the experienced trainers and core resources are available. Independent work across the full accessories range typically requires four to six months. Candidates hired for a later-shift opening will move to that assigned shift after completing the required training period.

• Regular work in a manufacturing environment with frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
• Exposure to industrial equipment, noise, dust, and moving machinery.
• Required use of personal protective equipment.
• Ability to perform physical work for extended periods throughout the shift.
