Position OverviewThe Resident Care Associate (RCA) is responsible for providing general non‑certified routine services in accordance with established procedures and may be directed by supervisors. This role is intended for candidates interested in pursuing training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A).
Key Responsibilities- Assists with housekeeping and laundry services including but not limited to trash removal and making and changing unoccupied beds.
- Assists with all aspects of meal service including but not limited to transportation of residents to and from dining room, tray delivery, and ensuring a great dining experience.
- Provides great customer service, companionship, and communication with residents by answering call lights in a timely manner, checking in with residents frequently and assisting with engagement in activities.
- Assists with personal care responsibilities according to state regulatory guidelines.
- Attends and participates in a training program leading to certification as a Nursing Assistant (C.N.A).
- High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred
- 0‑1 Years of relevant experience preferred
